Australia’s Indigenous history is so incredibly engrossing that it can’t be contained in just a book or a song. It’s a visceral experience. Something you need to see to truly appreciate. As part of an extensive team, we helped develop the VR film Carriberrie. A multi-platform immersive journey across Australia celebrating the depth and diversity of nine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural groups.

Carriberrie title card: a performer in ceremonial dress stands in red desert scrub before Uluru at sunset. Indigenous Australian song and dance in 360
Virtual Reality: two children outside a yellow-walled building, one holding a VR headset to his eyes while the other watches and smiles
A 360° frame folded into a tiny planet: a circle of red earth ringed by gum trees reaching into the sky
Three Carriberrie film posters: a painted elder in desert grass near Uluru, a dancer in a feathered headdress by the sea, and a lone performer before Uluru. Indigenous Australian dance and song in virtual reality
Three Carriberrie stills: a painted dancer holding a branch by the water, a group of women in body paint gathered on red earth, and a smiling painted performer among trees
Carriberrie landscape poster: a lone performer before Uluru at dusk, above a row of film festival laurels
